Grow Partnership Tennessee (GPT) is a tax-exempt Community-Based Organization (CBO) under IRS section 501(c)(3) committed to advancing public health and health equity in underserved communities across East Tennessee. We actively collaborate with cross-sector partners to address racism as a public health crisis and its impact on access to care, behavioral health, and community well-being.
Through culturally competent, peer-led training programs, GPT builds and strengthens the local public health workforce—empowering community residents to serve as trusted Community Health Workers (CHWs). Our integrated, community-driven model addresses the social and behavioral determinants of health while fostering mental wellness, resilience, and systemic change. In alignment with the mission of the Administration for a Healthy America (AHA), GPT is dedicated to expanding equitable access to comprehensive, high-quality, and trauma-informed health services that promote healing, prevention, and long-term community health.
